A huge  thank you to Telus which has provided a 2024 Community Giving grant to 1000X5 Children’s Book Recycling Project Society (Victoria 1000X5). 

We know that reading to very young children promotes language, imagination, closeness to an adult and “how to handle a book” skills – priceless knowledge that is crucial to a child’s early development. Sadly, many families lack the means to provide this for their little ones. Thanks to Telus for helping to provide the resources that mean more books in the hands of more children. Each month 1000X5 Victoria sends 3000 books into the small hands of 1000 babies and preschoolers. Together we are building stronger families and a stronger community.
